Basic Almond Milk Recipe (Easy & Delicious!!)

1. Soak 1 cup raw almonds in 3 cups of purified water overnight
2. Drain and rinse
3. In a blender add:
Soaked almonds
2-4 dates (or other sweetner)
1/2 tsp of vanilla extract
1/4 tsp salt 
4 1/2 cups purified water
4. Blend on high speed until the mixture is finely blended, about 1 minute.
5. Position the bag over a large bowl or pitcher and pour in the nut milk puree. 
6. Twist and squeeze the bag gently, allowing the filtered milk to collect until the pulp is dry.
7. Refrigerate immediately and serve well chilled.


Super easy to make!  You can use any raw (organic best) nut. I add stevia instead of dates to keep sugar low & add ½-1 tsp cinnamon. Experiment with the recipe.  I have made milk with hazelnuts, cashews, almonds, Brazil Nuts(do not require soaking), and walnuts so far.  Super yummy!
